The minister was scheduled to appear at Thailand’s Constitution Court Friday morning to testify about Thailand-Cambodia joint communique on the listing of the temple, which he signed mid-June on behalf of the Thai government

The World Heritage Committee considers 47 sites proposed for World Heritage status during a nine-day meeting, which runs from July 2 through 10.

In addition to Cambodia, two other Asean member countries - Indonesia and Malaysia – are also proposing to enter their sites on the World Heritage List. Indonesia has Bali, and Malaysia Melaka and George Town, to be listed under the cultural properties category.
