Hanoi government bids to stabilize prices
The information was given by Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi municipal Department of Industry and Trade (MoIT) at a working session with the Ministry of Industry and Trade on August 25. Hanoi currently has 561 price-stabilisation shops and plans to raise the number to 654 in the second phase of the campaign. The focus of service will be customers in living quarters, industrial zones and universities. MoIT Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa highlighted Hanoi’s efforts in stabilizing prices and asked the city to involve more businesses in the programs.
