The youngest sister of fugitive former prime minister Thaksin, said she hopes the polls will be free, fair and transparent in order the international community will accept the general election’s results.
Asked about the formation of the next government, Ms. Yingluck said it is too soon to talk about the issue at this time.
“It’s better to wait until the election commission officially announces the election’s results. After that I can say which parties will be invited to take part in forming the new administration, if our party wins at the polls,” she said.
Ms. Yingluck insisted that her elder brother is not involved in this general election.
