Pheu Thai plans huge rally
THE Pheu Thai Party announced yesterday that supporters would start a nationwide campaign at the end of the month to set up a pro-government movement, insisting that the PM will not dissolve House after the 2014 fiscal budget is passed.
Pheu Thai deputy spokesman Anusorn Iamsaard said with anti-government groups working hard to bring down the government, a group of supporters would get together to speak at 100 rally stages across the country.
He dismissed reports that the PM would dissolve House. "We have two years left to run the country. There is no use dissolving the House. We have pushed for many agendas and we would lose many opportunities if we dissolved the House. "Even if a new election is called, Pheu Thai still wins and the Democrats still lose, so it is not necessary," he said.
