Thais sign Myanmar energy deals The Thai Cabinet signed two memorandums of understanding on May 9 on the supply of natural gas and energy purchasing deal with Myanmar over the course of 10 years, according to NNT. The first MOU is for the Myanmar to supply Thailand with natural gas and liquid natural gas (LNG) for 3 years. At the moment, Thailand is consuming 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas supplied by Myanmar daily. This MOU also seeks to build an LNG warehouse in Myanmar to play safe in case the LNG supply could not be delivered to the Kingdom.
