Zulfahmi Khairuddin made his debut in 2009 and has slowly but surely made a name for himself in the World Motorcycle Championship. Hailing from Banting Selangor, the 21 year old, like AirAsia X has come a long way from his humble beginnings.

Zulfahmi Khairuddin’s greatest achievement so far was his 2nd placing during the Sepang Malaysian race in October 2012.

AirAsia began sponsoring Zulfahmi since his debut race at the Malaysian Grand Prix back in 2009 through the AirAsia Malaysia Wildcard Program. Since then, AirAsia has been instrumental in playing an active role in making his dream in the MotoGP come true.

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.
