SO SOFITEL BANGKOK CELEBRATES THE MAGIC OF THE SEASON

WITH “ONCE UPON A WONDERLAND” FESTIVE PROGRAM 2016

This festive season, SO Sofitel Bangkok transforms into a castle of gastronomic pleasures with a line-up of magical events – ribbon-tied together under the 2016 theme ‘Once Upon a Wonderland’ – designed to complement the most wonderful time of year.

New to this year’s extended festive program include additional buffet feasts at Red Oven, a SO Pool Party on Christmas Eve, a Romantic Premium Seafood Buffet Under the Stars at Solarium on New Year’s Eve, and a Sunday DJ Session at The Water Club on the 1st of January to jumpstart  2017.

“We started 2016 crossing the 50 awards milestone, and since then, we’ve hit a number of new highs including the successful rebranding to SO Sofitel Bangkok and hosting the 4th edition of the annual Art & Fashion Exhibition. We’ve had our fair share of challenges this year, but through them we persevere and grow. The concept for this year’s festivities captures our sentiments as we take the opportunity to celebrate the magic of this city, and the importance of family and friends,” says Mr. Yves Mudry, General Manager of SO Sofitel Bangkok.

The festivities get off to a jingling start on Christmas Eve (Saturday 24 December 2016) with brunch and dinner buffets at Red Oven – complete with a visit from Santa Claus, a kids’ playroom, and carolers in the evenings – a SO Pool Party at The Water Club, and a five-course dinner date at Park Society. Christmas Day (Sunday 25 December 2016) carries on with the season’s call to convene over culinary pleasures with bountiful brunch and dinner buffets at Red Oven and a five-course dinner at Park Society.

On New Year’s Eve (Saturday 31 December 2016), celebrations get off to an evening start with a dinner buffet with DJ at Red Oven; Romantic Premium Seafood Buffet Under the Stars at Solarium; and six-course degustation dinner at Park Society. As the clock nears midnight, New Year countdown parties at The Water Club, Park Society Terrace, HI-SO Rooftop Bar, plus an exclusive private countdown party at Super HI-SO Rooftop Bar, kick into high gear to usher in 2017.

A New Year brunch at Red Oven and a chilled-out Sunday DJ Session poolside eases guests into the new year on New Year’s Day (Sunday 1 January 2017).

Throughout the SO Festive 2016 program, kids under the age of 6 eat free; 50% discounted children's rates are offered for kids up until 12 years old. Loyalty program and/or credit card discounts are not applicable, except for the New Year's Day Brunch at Red Oven. A credit card guarantee is required for Christmas and New Year's Eve dinner bookings at Park Society, New Year's Eve Dinner at Solarium, DJ Countdown Party at Park Society Terrace and HI-SO, plus for any Red Oven booking  for group of 10 persons or more.
