Media OutReach Opens Office in Singapore, Enters Into Strategic Partnership With AsiaOne

SINGAPORE - 22 July 2016 - Media OutReach, Asia Pacific's first full service newswire, today announced the expansion of its business in the region with the opening of a new office in Singapore and signing of AsiaOne as a strategic content partner.

Ms. Jennifer Kok, Founder and Managing Director at Media OutReach said that the establishment of the Singapore office will enable Media OutReach to better service its growing clients' base in the country.  "Singapore is an important market for Media OutReach due to its position as a regional hub for many corporations in the Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific region," she said. She added that as the only newswire that has its own media distribution in 22 countries in Asia-Pacific, Media OutReach is in a strong position to support these corporations to reach out to their target media and countries effectively.

Ms. Kok also said that Media OutReach has clients from all over the world, from Australia, Singapore, China, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong to US and Europe, who are looking for expert press release distribution and media monitoring with analysis services in Asia Pacific. "We will continue to open up new offices and form strategic sales partnership in Asia-Pacific as we believed in the importance of having a local presence in this region," she added.

Media OutReach has a strong database in Singapore with more than 2,600 journalists and bloggers in the country. "We have a local media researcher in Singapore who works tirelessly to build and update the contacts of editors and individual journalists in newspapers, magazines, online media, newswires and broadcast media as well as blogs.  Therefore, with our current and up-to-date media database, we are able to help our clients garner news write-up as well as secure them with media interviews from our press release distribution service," she said.

To further strengthen its Singapore distribution, Ms. Kok said that the company has formed an exclusive news content partnership with AsiaOne, Asia's leading news portal owned by Singapore Press Holdings Limited.

Ms. Kok said that the partnership will allow Media OutReach to provide greater audience reach for its clients' news releases in Singapore. She added that AsiaOne is one of the most trusted online news sites in the country for Singaporeans and the international community. "We aim to be a valuable strategic partner to AsiaOne by providing them with localised news content from our clients in Singapore and Asia-Pacific," she said.

Ms Karen Lim, Editor at AsiaOne, said: "The AsiaOne business section is one of the most visited categories within our website and we believe we should provide our readers with enhanced offerings targeted at specific industry news. Media OutReach is like the missing jigsaw puzzle piece that can give our readers that, and we hope AsiaOne is able to fulfil our business readers needs with this new collaboration."

Ms. Fionn Lai, Regional Marketing Manager, Asia-Pacific at Ingenico ePayments said that Media OutReach is very knowledgeable and has a strong network and connection with the Asia-Pacific media. "We have benefited from Media OutReach's expertise as each of our press releases distributed with the company has resulted in news write-up from the media. Media OutReach also provided us with a detailed post-release distribution report with KPI measurement which made it easier for me to prepare a report for management," she added.

Ms. Lai further added that Media OutReach's customer services team is responsive and focused on helping her to meet her distribution objectives. Ingenico ePayments is the online and mobile commerce division of Ingenico Group. The company is the trusted partner of over 65,000 small and large merchants who rely on the company to make payments easy and secure for their customers.

Mr. Ryan Peh, Business Development Manager at Interion Pte Ltd said that Media OutReach has helped the company gained exposure in Asia-Pacific and build their brand reputation in Singapore and the region. "We were recommended Media OutReach by a business contact, and was very happy with the news write-up generated from the media," he added.

"Within days of using Media OutReach's press release distribution service, we scored an interview with The Straits Times Singapore. The article write-up gave our brand a big boost," he said. He added that Interion's press release on its new product also received coverage in various newspapers, trade publications and online news media in Asia-Pacific.

"The publicity generated has increased our online presence and helped to generate new sales leads," Mr. Peh said. Interion is Singapore home-grown firm involved in the distribution and manufacturing of AdBlue? by AceRev?, an emission control chemical used in diesel cars, trucks and buses.

Besides working directly with both local and multinational clients, Media OutReach also assisted many PR agencies across the Asia-Pacific region to target countries or media that the agencies may need support with. "Media OutReach has been our faithful partner since 2013 for markets where we have difficulty in getting the required eyeballs for our clients. Jennifer Kok's passion and her understanding of the challenges in the media scene have made a difference," said Ms. Yu Poh Leng, Senior Vice President, GM at Ruder Finn Asia Singapore.
