Manheim triples its business, demonstrates consistent growth
Builds to 5 Auction Lines in Bangkok, Opens Further Up Country
Bangkok, 18 February 2014 - Manheim, the world’s leading vehicle auction and remarketing company, today announced it has tripled its business in Thailand in 10
years. Expanding its auction lanes in Bangkok, and at its upcountry auction sites, has made Manheim the biggest vehicle auction company in Thailand.
“Over the past years, we have expanded consistently here in Thailand. We now have five auction lanes in Bangkok alone, two auction lanes in Phitsanulok and one each in
Surat Thani and Nakhon Ratchasima,’’ said Simon Moran, Vice President, Manheim Asia Pacific.

Three of the five auction lanes in Bangkok are for financier-owned vehicles, one is for motorcycles and one for salvage.
In 2013, Manheim celebrated its 10th anniversary in Thailand. It now has branches in Bangkok, Phitsanulok, Surat Thani, and the latest in Nakhon Ratchasima.
Manheim also provides an on-line, real-time auction service using its signature auction system called ‘Manheim Simulcast’. It is the first company to introduce on-line selling
technologies for second-hand vehicles to the world market, and to Thailand. The system has been fully adapted for the Thai market in Thai language.
