KTC treats watch-buying members to most exclusive deal
of 25% on-top discount with interest-free installment option for up to 10 months
at Central International Watch Fair 2013.

Mrs. Pittaya Vorapanyasakul, Executive Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “KTC is offering a most exclusive privilege to KTC credit card members with 25% on-top discount when spending 50,001 Baht or more per sales slip via a KTC credit card and using the same amount of Forever Rewards points as the paying amount. Alternatively, members spending 1 - 4,000 Baht, 4,001 – 30,000 Baht or 30,001 – 50,000 Baht per sales slip can use the same amount of points as the paying amount to claim 13%, 15% or 20% on-top discount respectively. The FLEXI 0% installment option is also offered with participating brands for up to 10 months. These offers are valid only at “Central International Watch Fair 2013” from August 27th to September 30th, 2013. The venues are the Event Hall on the 3rd Floor of Central Chidlom Department Store and the watch department of all branches of Central Department Store and Zen.”

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
