KTC once again offers credit card members an interest-free installment

payment option for tuition fee of  all levels for up to 6 months.

Mr. Nattawat Chayakul, Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said, “For the coming semester, KTC has redesigned a campaign to help out KTC members whether they are  parents of kindergartens or college students, including those studying at international institutions. All a member needs to do is pay for the tuition fee with a KTC credit card, provided that the institution uses a KTC Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine, then member will be entitled to the KTC Flexi installment payment option with interest rate as low as 0% for   3 - 6 months or 0.69% for 3 - 10 months without any credit card charge. Offer is valid from now until  31 December 2013.”

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
