KTC introduces a new value deal on three popular KTC Combination Platter creations
using Forever Rewards points at Sizzler.

          Mr. Terapoj Chokeanantang, Senior Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, and, Ms. Ardhawadee Jiramaneekul, Group PR Manager, The Minor Food Group Public Company Limited, the operator of Sizzler restaurants in Thailand, jointly offer a privilege to steak - loving KTC credit card members. For only 999 Forever Rewards points and 185 Baht payment, members can choose one of the three KTC Combination Platters regularly priced at 385 Baht each: 1) Spicy Grilled Chicken and Fried Crumbed Fish;  2) Black Pepper Pork Steak and Pork Sausage; and, 3) Teriyaki Ground Beef Steak and Pork Sausage. It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
