KTC brought university students under Learn & Earn @ KTC Project

to an event “Take Friends to Discover the World of Sciences by KTC”

fulfilling a dream and sharing happiness with blind children

Recently, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited by Mrs. Ubolrat Busyakanistha, (Center) Head of Human Resources, in cooperation with The Bangkok School for the Blind, brought university students under the Learn & Earn @ KTC project and the journalists to take part in babysitting blind children for the event “Take Friends to Discover the World of Sciences by KTC”. This project aimed to provide blind children with new learning vision and sustainably create a new dimension of being a “Giver” for project university students, by watching 3D multimedia in the Science Dome, as well as taking blind children to explore and experiment in the operation base of general sciences at the National Science Museum, Khlong 5, Pathumthani Province.

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
