KTC and FN Factory Outlet give members the chance to claim up to 20% discount with Forever Reward points.

Mr. Nattasit Soontranu, Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, and FN Factory Outlet are giving KTC members a special year-end shopping privilege with KTC credit cards. Members are entitled to 20% on-top discount when spending 30,001 Baht or more per sales slip with their credit card and using the same amount of Forever Rewards points as the spending amount. Similarly, 15% discount is offered when spending 4,001-30,000 Baht per sales slip and 13% discount is offered when spending 1-4,000 Baht per sales slip, provided that the same amount of Forever Rewards points as the spending amount is used. This privilege is valid at all branches of FN Factory Outlet from now until February 28th, 2014. Branches are located in Hua Hin, Pattaya, Sriracha, Phetburi, Singburi, Pakchong and Karnjanaburi.

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
