HRH Princess Ubolratana visits Bangkok Airways’ booth at ITB 2014

Berlin / 6 March 2014 – HRH Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Siri Vadhana Phannavadi visited Bangkok Airways’ booth at the fairground of Internationale Tourismus Boerse 2014 (ITB) currently held in Berlin, Germany. The princess was greeted by Bangkok Airways’ President - Capt. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth (sit-down, far right) together with M.L. Nandhika Varavarn – Vice President, Corporate Communicatications (sit-down, 2nd left, Mr. Peter Wiesner Senior Vice President – Network Management (back, 2nd right) and executives from Sales Department. ITB Berlin is respected as the word’s leading travel show and is currently being held in Berlin until March 9, 2014. Bangkok Airways first stand entered the fair in 1998.

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
