Chaine Dinner at Regent Phuket Cape Panwa’s "The Restaurant"

PHUKET, THAILAND – Regent Phuket Cape Panwa cordially invites Chaîne des Rotisseurs Members to the next Chaine Dinner, on Wednesday, 30th October 2013. Organized by Chaîne des Rotisseurs, Le Bailliage de Phuket, the event will be held at "The Restaurant," Regent Phuket Cape Panwa’s elegant eatery.

Pre-dinner cocktails will be served at 6:45pm, followed by a sumptuous dinner from 7:30pm onwards. This event allows Chaîne des Rotisseurs guests to experience the pleasures of fine cuisine, wine, great company, gastronomy and culinary art by our Chef and his creative team.

The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Thailande unites professional chefs, hoteliers, food and wine suppliers as well as non-professional gastronomes to meet at carefully selected and fine establishments. Chaîne des Rotisseurs organizes an average of ten events annually with the goal of creating an exceptional gastronomic experience amongst friends and professional connections.  

The member price for the dinner is THB 6200 per person. Non-members also can join with THB 6900 per person. The attire for this event is "Smart Casual with jacket.”

The Restaurant is an all-day dining venue, featuring the flavors of traditional Thai cuisine and international specialties. Dishes are inspired by the Chef’s unique journey and experiences, and the ingredients are of an excellent quality. Regent cuisine presents the freshest items including breakfast homemade pastries, bakeries and fruit jams, and uses locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

This year in Thailand-what next?

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
