Apple, Inc. Co-Founder to speak at Midas Touch Asia 2013 in Singapore

SINGAPORE, MAY 29, 2013 – Apple, Inc. Co-Founder Steve Wozniak will be speaking at Midas Touch Asia in Singapore on August 26 and 27, 2013, at Swissotel, The Stamford Mr. Wozniak will be speaking on topics revolving around Building an entrepreneurial mindset in a corporate culture, and will also share his experience as a Silicon Valley icon.

Three other prominent keynote speakers will also be sharing their valuable insights at the event.

Dr. Tan Khee Giap, Co-Director, Asian Competitiveness Institute (ACI),Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore will speak on ”1. Global Engines of Growth and its Impact to Asian economies 2. On Singapore Economy and the Population Policy: Vision 2030”, while Mr. Robert Wang, a solicitor by training and an entrepreneur who established partnership in founding of Suntec City Singapore with Li Ka Shing, Lee Shau Kee, Cheng Yu Tung and Run Run Shaw, will speak in Why Do Some Businesses Succeed and Others Fail.

This year in Thailand-what next?

It is commonplace in journalism to write two types of articles at the transition point between the year that has passed and the New Year. As this writer qualifies as an “old hand” in observing Thailand with a track record dating back 14 years, it is time take a shot at what may unfold in Thailand in 2011.

The first issue that can’t be answered is the health of Thailand’s beloved King Bhumibol, who is now 83 years old. He is the world's longest reigning monarch, but elaborate birthday celebrations in December failed to mask concern over his health. More
