Cautious sentiment continued to influence the market Thursday, dragging the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) down in moderate trading.

The PSEi lost 30.34 points or 0.93 percent, closing at 3,224.49. Cautiousness continued to grip investors, and foreign selling was obviously present during the session, said analyst Jasper Jimenez of Banco de Oro Securities told GMANews.TV.

"But compared to other Asian markets, ours is still quite high," he said.
