The Philippines is proposing 30 projects for funding under the fiscal year (FY) 2010 technical cooperation and grant aid programs of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica), the Business Mirror online reported.

The government is proposing nine projects for funding under the technical cooperation program of Jica, another five for the grant aid program, and seeking the assistance of 16 experts under the individual technical cooperation program of Jica, according to the documents from the National Economic and Development Authority (Neda).

The agency said that for FY 2009, the endorsed projects included 10 projects under development study (DS); 12 projects under technical cooperation (TC); 18 requests under individual expert (IE); 21 requests under individual training (IT); and 23 projects under grant aid (GA).
