Trade Exhibition Association of Thailand
The Trade Exhibition Association (Thai) or the TEA represents the professional players in the Exhibition and Convention Industry of Thailand, the 66 members of the TEA consists of Organizers, Venues, Contractors and Fright Forwarders. The Association’s main objectives are to promote the Thai Exhibition Industry to the World, raise the Thai Exhibition Industry to World Class standards and position Thailand as one of the preferred venue for International Exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region.
It is envisioned that by the end of the year 2006, Thailand will be renowned as an international center for trade exhibitions, for its standards, qualities and in particular the international exhibition participants. Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) set up in 2002 will play the key role in coordinating the future development of trade exhibitions together with the Trade Exhibition Association (Thai) (TEA), Department of Export & Promotion (DEP), and Tourism Authority (TAT). The government continues to invest in mass transportation and Bangkok’s New International Airport will open in 2006.
