Laos welcomes Thailand youth
The Vietnamese and Lao national youth unions will meet in Laos this week to foster the political, economic and social ties between the countries. more
Vo Van Thuong, first secretary to the Vietnam youth union, will lead the Vietnamese delegation to the Laotian provinces of Savanakhet and Champasak where the tour will open on Wednesday.

Delegates will attend conferences to promote friendship, unity, and cooperation between the two peoples.

Leaders of the youth delegations will also sign a cooperation agreement for the 2008-2009 period during the visit.

Delegates are also due to join music and cultural exchange activities as well as sporting events. Thanhniem News Reports
