“China Desk” to boost cooperation

To facilitate economic and investment cooperation between Indonesia and China, the countries will set up “China Desk” at the investment forum to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 15 and 16, according to the Indoneisan embassy in Beijing, China.

The desk woill function as a task force that will supply the latest information, answer questions and facilitate contacts with Chinese businesmen as well as monitor and assist potential Chinese investors wishing to invest in Indonesia, Antara  news agency quoted Deputy Head of the Mission of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing Mohamad Oemar as saying Sunday.

"We hope the desk will prevent Chinese potential investors from getting unfair treatment," he added.
