Ericsson gets network contract in Malaysia
Telecom equipment maker Ericsson on Thursday announced it has been awarded a two-year contract to expand a network for Telekom Malaysia, reported Reuters.
Ericsson, the world’s biggest mobile network maker, said it will expand the operator’s nationwide optical network in Malaysia.

“The contract is for the supply of an optical network based on Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technologies, and the provision of installation works and comprehensive maintenance services,” Ericsson said in a statement.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, said Reuters.
