China Southern to launch direct flight to Laos
China Southern Airlines (CSN), Asia's largest airline in terms of fleet size, plans to launch direct flight service between Guangzhou, southern China and Vientiane of Laos, commencing on November 6 2007, which will be the only flight connecting Guangzhou with Laos so far.
According to the flight schedule, the flight dubbed CZ3057, Airbus A319 aircraft will leave Guangzhou at 8:50am every Tuesday and Friday, and arrive in Vientiane at 10:20am, with its returning flight CZ3058 taking off at 11:20am from Vientiane and reaching Guangzhou at 14:40.
CSN, a major air transportation business of China Southern Air Holding Company, principally operates the largest and high-tech airline fleet in China, which conclude over 300 modern Boeing and Airbus aircrafts serving more than 600 domestic and international routes with diversified destinations worldwide. In 2006, a total of 49.2 million passengers were carried, according to its official website.
