Arin Jira was Co-Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) in 2010. During 2008 and 2009, he was the Chairman of the ASEAN-BAC, a council comprising CEOs of companies in Asean, represented by 3 members from each member country, who are chosen by their respective governments. He obtained his master’s degree at the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley. and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering at the same university.
